The Barriere & District Hospice Society is a volunteer-run
organization that provides support services to individuals and families
facing end-of-life care, grief, and bereavement. They offer emotional
support, practical assistance, and resources to help those in need.

An obvious difference is in our slogan: NO BLACK SUITS! This means that when you drop in, or we come to your home, we’ll be dressed fairly casually. We perform a professional service, but dislike the stereotypical image of the funeral director.
